Polisen HEAD to Head 2016, Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholmspolisens IF Simförening och HEAD Swimming inbjuder till Polisen Head to head – en internationell simtävling på Sveriges nationalarena för simning, Eriksdalsbadet i Stockholm.

Stockholmspolisens IF (SPIF) bildades den 9 augusti 1912 då Sverige tog hem guldmedaljen i dragkamp vid de olympiska spelen i Stockholm. Guldlaget bestod av idrottare från Stockholms poliskår. Idag organiseras SPIF:s verksamhet i flera idrotter, varav simning är en. Varje idrott har egen styrelse och ekonomi och har ingen formell koppling till poliskåren.
